About Civil Protection (profi) Manager’s Association
The NGO “Civil Protection (profi) Manager’s Association” is a voluntary association of citizens, that was created to protect civil rights and freedoms, satisfaction of public, in particular, economic, social, cultural, professional, scientific, educational and other interests of its members.
Activities
The organization is a public platform for training, education, research, certification and policy-making in the field of civil protection against known and new threats to the modern world and the elimination of the consequences of natural disasters, emergencies and man-made disasters.
The activities of the NGO “CPMA” are described by the following functional applications in the field of civil protection:
- establishing and maintaining a dialogue between government agencies, public organizations, interested institutions (parties), individuals and international structures in the field of civil protection in Ukraine and in the world;
- development and implementation of advanced technologies and tools of civil protection;
- improving global cooperation and setting global standards in the field of civil protection;
- raising awareness of people and officials about the use of advanced technologies, technical solutions and achievements of information technology and social sciences to ensure civil protection;
- coverage of problematic issues of the state and society in the field of implementation of civil protection tasks by available methods;
- promoting the development and implementation of world best practices in civil protection;
- pooling efforts of stakeholders such as governments, industry leaders, scientists, volunteer representatives, experts in specific fields of knowledge or specific issues to increase the level of civil protection of people, territories, the environment in Ukraine and the world;
- informing the public about the prospects of application in the field of civil protection of the achievements of science, technology, information systems based on knowledge, decision support systems, social sciences, psychology and other behavioral sciences;
- proposing, initiating and participating in the implementation of research and development work and scientific and technical support for the development of new systems and global standards in the field of civil protection;
- performing research funded independently or from external sources;
- promoting the improvement of educational methods and standards of training of specialists in civil protection;
- initiating and developing a quality certification process for civil protection professionals;
- involvement of youth and students in conducting work and research in the field of civil protection;
- promoting the general knowledge and skills of people in society on the procedure for action in emergencies;
- activities related to the placement of information on websites and data processing.

Organizational structure of the NGO “Civil Protection (profi) Manager’s Association“
The activities of the NGO “CPMA” are managed by the Chairman of the Association. The Board, directly subordinate to the Chairman, and the Supervisory Board are used to ensure the activities of the Association. Each of them manages a certain part of the work of managing the activities of the Association and has the appropriate functional tasks. The management of the Organization is carried out on the basis of democracy, transparency, election of governing bodies, subordination and executive discipline, taking into account the regulatory documents of the Organization.
The governing bodies of the Organization are:
- General meeting of members of the Organization;
- Board of the Organization;
- Chairman of the Organization;
- Supervisory Board of the Organization.
