The Buchansk City Council will allocate 2 billion hryvnias for community reconstruction

Residents of the Buchansk community in Kyiv region have submitted applications for the reconstruction and reconstruction of housing, critical infrastructure and social facilities of the community for almost two billion hryvnias. All damages and destruction are related to Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

The Buchansk City Council announced that it plans to raise funds to repair these facilities.

“Depending on how government structures or donors make decisions, we have to respond to them synchronously and promptly. Therefore, in July, August and September, the Buchansk City Council will work, in fact, in an emergency mode,” Buchansk Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk emphasized.

He also added that the annual plan of the Buchan community is to rebuild 90% of the destroyed houses and facilities.

Meanwhile, Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv regional military administration, said that since the deoccupation of Kyiv region, more than 12,000 objects have been rebuilt in the region.

Repair work is currently underway in Irpen, Gostomel, Borodyanka, Myla, Buzovaya.
