The Cabinet of Ministers allocated over UAH 1.7 billion for the restoration of medical facilities in nine regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
It is noted that the subvention from the state budget will be distributed to local budgets for the reconstruction and reconstruction of medical facilities within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Program.
In particular, these are medical facilities in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
The funds will be directed to the recovery, repair and reconstruction of medical institutions of various profiles, including those institutions that suffered from the war and need further restoration.
Among the medical infrastructure facilities are regional and clinical hospitals and dispensaries: three – in Vinnytsia Oblast, five – in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, four – in Zhytomyr Oblast, three – in Kyiv Oblast, two – in Kirovohrad Oblast, six each – in Odesa Oblast and Poltava Oblast, as well as one facility each in Sumy Oblast and Chernihiv Oblast.
As the Ministry of Health clarified, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the enemy has damaged 1,377 medical facilities and destroyed a total of 184 more. At the same time, 341 facilities of medical facilities were fully restored and another 410 facilities were partially restored.
