The Cabinet of Ministers decided to transfer over UAH 47 million to the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure from budget allocations provided for the Ministry of Energy in 2023.
“Budget assignments provided for in 2023 to the Ministry of Energy in the general fund of the state budget under the program “Leadership and management in the field of efficient use of energy resources” in the amount of 47 million 845 thousand UAH were transferred to the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure for the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and energy saving,” said Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada.
Funds, in particular, are provided for a new budget program aimed at effective use of fuel and energy resources, alternative types of liquid and solid fuels, energy saving and energy efficiency.
On February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers transferred the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.
